This week we talk about everyone's favorite extremely large marine mammal: whales!  We learn how baleen works, discuss the role of whale products in our everyday lives, concern ourselves over which whales are the right whales for whaling, and, salaciously, explore the mystery of the whale-mouth-penis-thing!

Perhaps more importantly, we talk about the Svengali-like grip that cake has taken on our society. We love it, yet keep it always out of reach.

Also, the name of the Carvel ice cream cake whale is Fudgie, not Wally.
