On this week's edition of the Wharton tapes we sat down with GH native Rachel, a distinguished panelist at the Wharton African Business Forum and the CEO and founder of Kelewele. Kelewele, LLC is a cultural lifestyle brand dedicated to making plantains, reimagined, and is named after a staple plantain based Ghanaian dish of the same name. They offer unique plantain products such as plantain based cookies, ice cream, etc. She was accompanied by her friend Hannah who gave a personal testament to Kelewele products making her a lover of plantains. Rachel told us her start with Kelewele, and the joy she has in remixing the classic African dish. SO much comedy and knowledge. ENJOY
