This week we ring in a NEW DECADE!  2020 here we come ready or not!

It was 9 years ago this month that I took the risk and launched my own brand and created the title of Chief Inspirational Officer.

The first 5 years I ran the business at hobby level – just doing my thing and raising our sons. Then in 2016 I started that year by asking this question: HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SERVE THIS YEAR? The answer I received when I cast that question to the universe was… GET IN FRONT OF PEOPLE! So I did.

I embraced the opportunity to allow myself to take the risk and position myself as a thought leader and expert in my industry of performance coaching and leadership.

What we’ve been able to do in this short period of time to build this foundation are the following top 10 accomplishments:

1. Published a book
2. Launched a podcast in 2017 and (relaunched it with greater quality and bandwidth in 2019)
3. Created a performance assessment
   • Helps you see where you stand within the 4-pillars of performance
   • This awareness shows you exactly what to focus on
4. Launched the Maverick Movement
   • Daily challenge Q’s posted on our SM platforms to engage and empower you
5. Hosted Maverick Lives – live Q & A coaching opportunities monthly
6. Presented to 5,000+ women engineers
   • This took me 2-years to secure!
   • So give yourself time and grace – these things don’t just happen overnight
7. Launched a course
   • But before we did, we failed at launching a course
   • We reassembled the right team to support us and wa-la it not only launched but it was filled and have ratings of 9 out of 10 in ROI return
8. Retained my team for 9 years solid
   • Added to the team
   • Fired some of them
9. Laughed a lot!
   • We put a focus to joy in what we do. If it starts feeling HARD, we stop
   • This is how we measure if it’s a good fit or not – write down these 4 words; light / heavy / expanded /contracted
   • We only say yes if it feels light/expansive (do-able with opportunity)
10. Never gave up!
    • Good lord! I could have done this a dozen x’s
    • I had 4 major surgeries
    • I pushed back manuscript submission 3x’s
    • I went through 8 months of questioning myself and losing faith
    • The list goes on and on….

But what do I want to achieve in the coming year?

A strength I possess is being FUTURISTIC – I like to spend my time in the areas of ‘what’s possible’ and the what ifs of achievement.

Here’s what’s on my list for 2020

1. Be featured on GMA sharing Successboarding, the self-recognition strategy I created in 2007 that helps high-level achievers/performers sustain and operate with ease
2. Finalize our Successboarding workbook and have it available for purchase on Amazon
3. Publish my 2nd book
4. Host a LIVE event in Arizona in Nov 2020
5. Impact 1,000 + clients through our 1:1 coaching/course and live events

What do I see for you in the coming year?

To be a part of it all by joining the Maverick Community and participating in 1 or more offerings we have available for you.

To step into being a risk taker and stop thinking and start doing! Can I get a hell yes!

Remove the doubt that may be swirling around in your mind and be open to receive all the gifts that are meant to come to you.

Once I stopped resisting and started allowing it opened my opportunities up to bigger and bolder things. These things inspire not only myself but others that I align with in my circle of influence.

If you do anything this year – Stop sitting on the sidelines of life and start getting into the game.

Start with ONE DECISION – be exhausted by your success instead of rested by your mediocracy.
