There is a hymn I love so dearly. It says, "There's not a friend like the lowly Jesus; No, not one." Another hymns says, "What a friend we have in Jesus..." Wow, what a friend. 

 Some might wonder, what is it that makes Jesus the perfect and absolute friend? And if he is the perfect friend, does that mean my "friends" are not really my friends since they are not Jesus? 

One principle that we see throughout the Bible is the importance of relationships, one in particular, friendships. Tune in and join me and a great friend of mine as we talk about what a friend is, the essence and importance of friendships and how Jesus, our Lord and Savior is the best friend we can ever have.
