I've found that the most valuable praise comes from the person we achieve and do things for. When we post online or tell someone about an achievement, what we might really be craving is praise from ourselves.

I asked myself a few questions to reflect on this year. Despite not achieving any of the goals I hoped to achieve, this year was my favorite year.

1. Did this year fly by?

2. Was I living by my values this year?

3. Did I take care of myself this year?

4. Did I surprise myself this year?

5. Who helped and supported me this year?

6. For all the pain i felt this year, did I truly go through it? How did I grow from it?
