Join Hayley Mulenda as she challenges your standard of what healthy friendships should look like. There is a lot of material out there on what a healthy relationship should look like, but we don’t see much material out there on healthy friendships. In this episode Hayley explains why your friendships are so important and highlights what toxic friendships look like and why you shouldn’t entertain them. Many of us entertain friendships that are not healthy due to the fear of being seen as disloyal, or because of how long we have known the person. THAT CHANGES TODAY. Certain friendships can hold you back from becoming who you’re called to be and sometimes in order for you to reach higher heights, you need to let go of some baggage. Some of that baggage may include some of the people around you. Hayley uses this time to also highlight that we sometimes have to look within ourselves and see as to whether we could be the toxic friend. We must sometimes question as to whether we are the person holding back someone else? We shouldn’t be so quick to point the finger. We need to evaluate ourselves and ask ourselves if we are the problem.

In order for fruits to be healthy, the roots need to be nurtured and before anything in your life can look good, you need to make sure you are in a healthy environment. You can’t pour bleach into soil and expect the flower to flourish. It is the same with you.
