What Abt Yo Frans episodes

  • Midterms or DIE (2026)

On the latest episode of "What About Yo Frans," Miniskirt Myrt is joined by Erika Claudio @erikaclaudio founder and CEO of My Body PAC (@mybodypac), for a timely conversation about political power, community advocacy and what's at stake in the 2026 midterm elections.

With control of Congress on the line, reproductive rights remaining a major political issue and Mississippi facing a consequential U.S. Senate race, there's PLENTY to unpack.

Erika pulls up to discuss the historical underrepresentation of Black women in political spaces, breaks down what PACs actually do and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at political organizing.

We're talking bodily autonomy versus abortion rights, the power of grassroots advocacy and how My Body PAC is engaging communities through initiatives like #PartyToThePolls.

And we're putting Mississippi under the microscope! We explore the state's political landscape, Scott Colom's U.S. Senate candidacy and what greater political representation and advocacy could mean for Black communities across the state.

Beyond the headlines and political debates, this conversation is about understanding the issues, recognizing the power of community and making informed decisions about the future.

Because what happens in Washington doesn't stay in Washington. It reaches our neighborhoods, our families and our everyday lives.

**Election Day is November 3, 2026.** Know what's on your ballot, do your research and make your voice heard.

  • I Be Coming From Somewhere Else.. We can Agree to Disagree!

Frans! How many of us have them—COLORFUL ones at that?

In this episode of What About Yo Frans?, Miniskirt Myrt is joined by fellow unicorn, close friend and media maven The Media Prince—and, baby, this pairing is a KEEEE! With two hosts who aren’t afraid to challenge each other, you’re in for jokes, satire and a healthy dose of agreeing to disagree. Because what’s a good friendship without the kind of conversations that make you laugh, think and reconsider your own point of view?

Mini and The Media Prince kick things off by revisiting nostalgic moments from iconic Black comedians before getting a few things off their chests. Then, they put their “franship” to the test with a series of unpredictable scenarios that reveal what each of them would—or absolutely would not—do thus "agreeing" or "agreeing to disagree."

By Topic Talk, the gloves are off. As two media veterans, Mini and The Media Prince unpack the rise of streamers and how internet culture has transformed journalism, celebrity, access and the very meaning of fame. They also examine the Kai Cenat and Clover Boys controversy, peeling back the internet mess to explore the friendship dynamics at its center.

With opposing perspectives, hard-earned wisdom and plenty of personality, the two ultimately arrive at one shared truth: you can’t take everyone with you.

By the end of the episode, it’s up to the Frans to decide: Whose perspective do you agree with most—Mini’s or The Media Prince’s? Sound off in the comments, because, honey, what would the world be if we all thought the same?

  • Becoming The Person You Want To Attract

BONUS EPISODE! What About Yo Frans touches down in Atlanta for an exclusive recording at the Mr. Jay Hill Network!

Miniskirt Myrt is joined by fellow DMV native, sistar, creative and Cloudy Donuts co-founder Zewiditu, who makes a pit stop during her pop-up tour to pour into the Frans.

This one is for the single girlie pops who are ambitious, building THE THING, creating the life they prayed for… but haven’t met their person yet. Mini taps into some big-sis wisdom from a woman who has built a life rooted in community, purpose, entrepreneurship and partnership alongside her husband, Derrick, aka Mr. 7 Streams.

But Zewiditu’s story is far from a fairytale without a testimony. She gets vulnerable about saving her own life, divine alignment, becoming the person you’re asking to attract, and what can happen when you finally position yourself for the life—and love—you say you want.

The gems are GEMMING, Mini is taking notes for herself and her fellow single-lites, and class is officially in session.

  • The Burden of Self-Awareness

In this episode of What About Yo Frans, Miniskirt Myrt welcomes LA stylist BT Marie—a fairly new friend who proves that finding your people can happen in the most unexpected places. After meeting on a majority-Black production set in Los Angeles, the two began cultivating a budding friendship rooted in shared experiences, mutual understanding and genuine connection.

Nothing is off-limits as Mini and BT dish on their first impressions, why we’re naturally drawn to certain people, and how we find our place within new spaces. They also unpack the stamina required to survive the entertainment industry, life as an LA native versus a transplant, and why so many people move to Los Angeles chasing a dream but struggle to build authentic community.

The conversation deepens as the ladies explore “the burden of self-awareness”—and how what sometimes feels heavy may actually be a gift from God, calling us toward our higher selves. They discuss shifting your perspective, trusting your intuition and recognizing that both the good and difficult moments of life may be happening for you.

Finally, Mini and BT share their advice on carrying self-awareness into friendships without losing compassion, boundaries or trust in yourself. Because life is a journey—and conversations like these are essential to growing through adult friendship, faith and community.
