In this moment of Apocalypse we will feel discomfort. As you’ve heard me say over and over again, we’ve got to get good at being in the challenges of being alive today.
When I couldn’t settle myself this morning. When my breath was short and hard, I had moments of empathy with the dry trees, the hot air, the parched earth. It occurred to me that my struggle to breath was like the experience the natural world might just be having these days with climate change.
This Beyond episode is about empathy and compassion.
My work today, and now yours, is to appreciate, remember the radiant beauty of our body, our soul, and this natural system we are a part of. Perhaps by simply appreciating and acknowledging that we’re in a moment of adversity, of beautiful transformation, of apocalypse we can breath a little deeper and feel both the restful calm and the unease.
And enjoy this moment for all it is. For this is where we are. And all we have is this moment.
