Judith Anderegg and David Pelto have lived in Alaska most of their lives. They are retired teachers ((Judith - elementary and David - high school English and drama). They taught in Kake and the Mat-Su Valley where they lived for almost 30 years. Judith also worked for both the governor and the Alaska Legislature, which educated both of them on the need for political involvement in our state. While still teaching, Judith and David took time to build a log cabin at the foot of Denali. Following the advice of an elderly uncle, they also discovered a love for travel. Their journeys have taken them from Escalante Grand Staircase to the Spanish Steps and from Barrow (Utqiagvik) to the Antarctic.
