βOur heart will be filled with whatever we make space for.β
Ezekiel 8-11 by Michael Lockstampfor (@miklocks)
This sermon explores the concept of idolatry and its consequences, the visions recorded in Ezekiel 8-11. With the observation that our hearts will be filled with whatever we make space for, whether the true God or false idols. We are warned against the dangers of subtle idolatry in modern life and called to genuine commitment to God. Even in a message describing God's judgment against idolatry, God's grace in marking and preserving those who remain faithful underpins the heart of the message.
π¬ What are we afraid God will ask us to surrender to Him?
π¬ Are we trusting Jesus to claim us from the wrath our sin earns?
π¬ Will our troubles drive us to trust God or run away from Him?
