Completed in August 2018, the Opal Tower in Sydney was an exciting new build in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct with apartments selling for prices ranging from $800,000 to $2.5m Australian dollars. From the outside, this 117m structure comprised of 392 apartments seemed to offer a place of safety, security and comfort for its residents. That was until Christmas eve that same year, when residents were evacuated as a crack on level 10 created a loud bang and left residents fearing for their lives wondering what would be left of their multi- million dollar purchases.

Do you really think the sole purpose of your life is to accommodate for endless unreasonable demands from your boss? Are you asking what you value, what freedoms you don’t want to compromise and making steps to strengthen the foundation of these values? Or much like the Opal tower, do you put minimal effort into your building materials, your values, all for the purpose of quickly trying to appear to others as someone who has everything altogether as fast as possible?
