In the last episode, we touched on what we "make things mean" in our lives, which is a huge part of any coaching relationship. If we find that we're being reactive, self-sabotaging or unable to make changes that we want to make, the thing that gets in the way more often than not is "what we're making it mean" that we don't realise we're making it mean.

Today we're going into:

  • Generalisations and how they help us avoid what we're really doing
  • Developing controlling behaviours of self-sabotage
  • The fear of what having the perks of a change means about you
  • Internal childlike conflict
