📖 **Scripture Readings:**• Deuteronomy 8:1–3• Colossians 1:1–14• John 6:30–33, 48–51Today’s readings call us to remember where true life comes from and to trust the God who faithfully provides. In **Deuteronomy 8:1–3**, Moses reminds Israel that the wilderness was not wasted time. God used hunger and hardship to teach His people a deeper truth: *“Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.”* Dependence, not abundance, is where faith is formed. In **Colossians 1:1–14**, Paul lifts our eyes to Christ—the One through whom redemption comes, who rescues us from darkness and brings us into the kingdom of light. Strength, endurance, and gratitude flow from knowing who we belong to and what He has already done for us.And in **John 6:30–33, 48–51**, Jesus makes the claim that reframes everything: *He* is the true bread from heaven. Not a temporary provision, but living bread that gives eternal life to all who receive Him.This episode invites us to examine what we’re feeding on and where we’re looking for life. True nourishment is found not in what we gather, but in the One who gives Himself for the world.
