Today we are doing a short episode to talk about a single song.

Ben Rector released a new single. It’s an acoustic version of his last single called ‘it would be you.’ Not only is this an acoustic version but it’s also a duet with Ingrid Michaelson. I’ve not yet done episodes on either of these artists. That’s certainly in the cards down the road.

Rector released the original version of this song back towards the beginning of this pandemic. It’s about the world ending and all of us being stuck somewhere with just one person. It’s really a love song of sorts.
