Stephen King, Lecturer in Media at Middlesex University Dubai, speaks to Edarabia about Digital Media and the industry demand for graduates of the programme. 
Digital Media teaches a broad range of the latest content production techniques; with practice-based work including video production, web design and HTML programming, data visualisation, and smart environments.  
Graduates of Digital Media are equipped with a wide range of skills which make them suitable for various roles within the creative industries – across social media, marketing, production, and content creation.
 
About Stephen King
 
Stephen holds a BA in Advertising and Marketing from Lancaster University (UK), and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK), and the Middle East Public Relations Association (UAE). He is also a Member of the International Committee (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) and a Chair of Professional Standards at the Middle East Public Relations Association.
 
Stephen teaches Issues in Media and Society and Advanced Digital Journalism, and his research interests include Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility, Digital and Video Communications, and Public Diplomacy.
