Managing patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension, or PAH, can present certain challenges. PAH is a serious, progressive condition, and its effective management involves the consideration of several factors to meet treatment goals. The utilization of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) to enhance shared decision-making can be a valuable tool to help integrate lifestyle, palliative care, and patient goals into a PAH care plan and address diverse and global needs.
