What Charlie Kirk Meant to Me

Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed on Wednesday afternoon at Utah Valley University while doing what he had done hundreds of times before: debating college students.

Many of them credited Kirk with giving them the courage to want ordinary things: family, faith, and marriage. For them, he did something that Republicans had failed to do since Reagan: He made conservatism cool.
