Bernadette Capulong is the CEO of BC Design Haus, is a strategic design and branding agency in the Los Angeles area. Beginning in 2009 at the cusp of the recession, She fell into this business and struggled for almost 2 years hustling for any work that she could find. It was a rough start but eventually, She built a client base of 20 accounts in less than 2 years. Bernadette realized then, what she could accomplish through grit and tenacity.

Although she meant to be an entrepreneur, she also meant to be a mom, a single one at that. She has juggled the challenges of family and business while building a fast-growing boutique agency and raising her son whom she adopted in 2015. The hardest job she faces is being a good mom to my son. Being a parent helps prepare her to be an inspiring leader and, as her own boss and have better control over work-life balance.
