Kitsquad is all about breaking down the barriers to low income families accessing the outdoors - if we donate our old running and outdoor gear to them, they check, clean and reproof it and send it to low income individuals families so they can enjoy the outdoors. Since launching Kitsquad in Feb 2020 founder Fran Pearson and team have supported over 200 people and taken in thousands of outdoor items ready to send out to less fortunate folk. To our knowledge Kitsquad is the only organisation doing this, and not only is this venture very noble, but it’s environmentally fantastic to recycle the kit this way too.
