Background for the book of Judges (summary at bottom): Judges 17:6 & Judges 21:25 - In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit.
Last week’s key verse: Colossians 3:5

1. Sin makes us subjects or vassals (one who has to pay tribute). Judges 3:14 – Genesis 4:6, 7; John 8:34 2. Only God can help us – Cry out to Him – Judges 3:15; Psalm 51:3, 4 3. Prepare yourself for battle! Judges 3:16, Ephesians 6 4. Face your sin & kill it. Judges 3:17-23
5. Run and get help. Judges 3:26, 27; 2 Timothy 2:22 6. Victory comes when we let others join us in the battle. Judges 3:28-30
