Even confident executives and managers can get the jitters when

delivering a presentation or important public news. Over decades survey
participants have repeatedly claimed they would rather die than address a
crowd. But it's not necessary to be a "rock star" entrepreneur or a
smooth-talking politician to enthrall the audience as a public speaker.
Body language, deep breathing, sharing personal insights and giving
yourself a break will improve impact and overcome awkwardness, say
experts who insist hubris may be as much of a turn-off as shyness.
