Have you ever gotten some news and weren’t sure what to make of it? Was it good? Was it

bad? Sometimes it’s hard to know. On that first Palm Sunday, you can imagine word

spreading quickly that Jesus, this miracle worker from Galilee, was riding into Jerusalem on a

donkey. For the cheering crowds, Jesus was great news. For his enemies, he was bad news

that had to be silenced. But as Paul explains, Jesus is the good news the world needs to

hear–better than even his biggest fans understood when he rode into Jerusalem all those

years ago.
