Hello and Happy Almost Thanksgiving. As we head into the holiday weekend, our digital editor and first-time mom Nina Harada shares her reflections on what it means to feel like a mom. Whatever your journey was to become a parent, is it everything you expected? Did you feel like a parent right away? And what about all the "shoulds" in your mind. This is what a mom "should" do, this is what a parent "should" feel. We're not sure where all those "shoulds" come from, but they don't always serve a positive purpose. Let's focus more on talking about our parenting journeys and supporting each other and reminding each other that if you're asking yourself "am I doing it right" -- you're doing it right.
