What does "being in alignment" mean?

To me it means to align with your higher self and true souls essence. So ultimately being soul led and embracing our true frequency.So when you awaken to the truth that you are consciousness, a loving awareness, a soul, where would this consciousness choose to focus its awareness and how would it be embodied in this human form? What essence and energy does it embody and transmit? What wants to flow through your channel into this human experience? What would my higher self do in this situation?
