What I took from the hurricane: 1. Make calculated decisions. Get information and act. Prepare for the worst. It’s similar to emergency medicine, we make decisions with imperfect data, weighing the likelihood times the magnitude. 2. Focusing on a problem doesn’t change it. Watching the storm move minute by minute creates anxiety, stress, and worry. I am solution focused. I focus on the problem long enough to be informed and act - then I focus on the solutions within my control. Thanks for listening!
