What Does it Mean? Blessed are Those who Hunger and Thirst
What is your favorite food?
What is your favorite beverage?
What is Jesus talking about when He teaches that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled?
We are called to have a desire or hunger for the things of God. We are called to have a passion or hunger for a relationship with God. We are called to have a desire or appetite for the Word of God.
When we hunger and thirst for righteousness, it is not in vain, for it comes with a promise that God will fulfill that desire.
Is part of the reason the church is not impacting the world and having a massive impact because we have lost the hunger and thirst for righteousness?
