The church talks often about giving and generosity, but what exactly does that mean? Is there a threshold in which my giving becomes generous, or is all giving generous by its very nature? How can I become more generous if there are limits to what I have to give? Well, in today’s episode, Cameron and Dr. J unpack these questions and more as we dive deeply into the question, “What does it mean to be generous?” And, you may be surprised to learn that it’s not a conversation all about money; there’s more to generosity than that.
15 — Why does it seem like the church talks about giving so much?
44 — Should Christians give away all they possess except the bare necessities, like we saw in the early church?
34 — Does it really matter what we have to offer?
51 — What does it mean to generosity? Is there a threshold where my giving becomes generous?
36 – What does someone who is not generous look like?
40 — How can I become a more cheerful giver?
41 — What should be done if a husband and wife disagree on tithing or on how much to give?
59 — “Jesus knew in order to save ourselves, we must live for others.” What does this mean? How do we live our life for others? Are we just at their beck and call?
03 — So, where do we begin? How can we increase our generosity today? What if I feel like I don’t have the money, or the time, or the talents to be more generous than I already am?
