Scripture presents at least 5 different ways in which the phrase -in the spirit- is used, and yet religious people often use this phrase in a manner which may be less scriptural than we think. How do you know if you are -in the Spirit.- And, which spirit are you in- Which spirit are you of- How do you know whether the preacher is preaching from God's heart or from his own desires, concerns, or frustrations-----From the message- -God's Spirit produces love- He produces unselfishness- He produces an attitude of longsuffering- He produces an attitude of forgiveness. And the moment any preacher deviates from that, we've gotten into our own flesh. It doesn't mean the whole message is useless- it means we are imperfect vessels.-
