For a few years, I've been very curious about neurotypical communication as well as how (and to what extent) neurotypical individuals consciously think of their communication preferences, preference for routine, emotional regulation, etc.

Many of the points raised in this video will vary from person to person, and in several cases may depend on other aspects of a person's identity or experience as well (i.e. may not apply to all people who consider themselves neurotypical).

This video is primarily made through an autistic lens, although it aims to incorporate some discussion of neurodiversity more broadly, and is geared towards discussing and understanding neurotypical communication.
