As God's people we are called to live holy lives because our God is a holy God. Being holy doesn't mean that we are to be perfect, rather it means we are to live lives that are set apart unto God. Living lives set apart unto God is not something that comes natural. We have to first be God's children. Even after we have professed faith in Jesus, living holy lives is still difficult.
