**Anne originally trained as a maths and science teacher but then chose to qualify as an accountant and worked in business for 12 years. Having recognised that there was more to life than a successful career – specifically working long hours to make money for other people at the expense of her own health – she quit the rat race and returned to her first love: teaching, but on a part-time basis.
