The pray(er) uses a lot of scripture in this  prayer of lament. The pray(er) discusses what putting hope in God means to the pray(er). On the day that is dubbed the ‘Day of Love’, it is challenging for the pray(er) because this day has traditionally not been represented in that way by humans for the pray(er). The pray(er) asks for God to allow the pray(er) to see the good in afflictions.
