Russia is a significant global player as well as an important strategic partner of India. In this episode of the Raisina podcast we talk not only about the role of Russia in the modern world but look at some domestic issues faced by Russia. We discuss these maters with Dr. Vyacheslav Nikonov, a member of the Russian parliament (Duma).

Dr. Nikonov has been a member of the staff of Presidents Mikhail Gorbachev, Boris Yeltsin and Vladimir Putin and is thus well versed with the intricacies of Russian domestic and foreign policies.
