In this episode, Arnie and Fred continue their discussion of the persecution of Christians in the first century. We note that this persecution resulted from riots, false charges, brutal assaults and even murders on numerous occasions. We talk about the riot that occurred in Ephesus, as well as the murder of Antipas at Pergamos and the persecution of the members of the church at Smyrna.  There were false brethren who engaged in persecution and even relatives who persecuted their own family members.  Saints in the first century risked their lives to teach and preach the gospel and to protect other brethren at the risk of their own lives.
