Arnie and Fred begin this second episode about Repentance by discussing the need for restitution and restoration of ill-gotten gains. We look at the case of the tax collector, Zaccaeus and what he said he did in that regard and Jesus' response to that. We remind ourselves of what genuine repentance involves. We talk about a number of Bible examples in both the Old and New Testaments when inspired individuals state the requirement that individuals and nations repent of their sinful behavior, which leads us to understand that God views repentance as absolutely necessary.
