In this episode, Arnie and Fred discuss three facts concerning what the Bible says about suffering. We note that suffering comes at any time, place and in ways when we least expect it. We note that we are seldom prepared for it, seek to avoid it and shrink from it. We note the passages that point out that the various afflictions we suffer come from Satan and not God and the fact that they started with Adam and Eve. The Bible teaches us that God is the giver of good things to mankind, and we look at some passages that show that. We complete this episode by discussing the fact that suffering is a consequence of sin, not necessarily a punishment and look at passages that indicate that.
