What Emotions Tell Us: Episode 25

On this episode we look at emotions and what they tell us.  Specifically the negative emotions.  When you learn the message that your emotions are communicating, you will know what actions to take.  Eventually those emotions become positive triggers to take your life in the best possible direction.

Here is the list of emotions we talked about and what they mean.  For more detail, listen to the show.

* Fear=Prepare for what your know is coming
* Anxiety= Learn about what may be coming
* Sadness= Value was lost.  Accept the loss or replace it.
* Inadequacy= You don’t have the skills yet.  Go learn and grow.
* Hurt= An expectation was not met
* Disappointment= An expectation is not going to happen.  Set a new goal or change your expectations.
* Anger= A rule was broken
* Frustration= Your strategy isn’t working.  Change your approach or be more flexible.
* Loneliness= You must connect with others.
* Guilt & Shame= You broke your own rules or knowingly violated someone else’s.
* Discomfort= You can do more, be more, or do better.
