Modern peoples treat evil with a disdain that is interesting. We claim to be alarmed at mass shootings and those who begin wars, but the reactions have taken the form of a pantomime, politicians especially parody horror as they have always played out the actions of someone who is grief stricken. But how is a society ignorant of what evil is supposed to understand what good is? If we cannot recognize evil how do we know who is good?
