In the opening section of Paul's letter to this church in the small city of Colosse, he mentions that he continually prays for this church to grow in their faith. And what's interesting is that Paul doesn't immediately give a list of things they need to do- he'll get to some of that later in the letter, but instead he directs their attention to the beauty and supremacy of Christ Jesus.
