Susan Townsend continues the series, “What God Wants Us to Be.”  This lesson is Be Forgiving. Godly forgiving means that He removes our sin, cancels our debt, and restores our relationship with Him. He no longer holds our sin against us. Biblical forgiveness, as God calls His people to practice it, is the willing decision to release an offender from the debt of wrongdoing, to let go of resentment and the desire for vengeance, and to extend grace and mercy in love, just as God in Christ has forgiven us.
