For years, children's Bible class teachers have sought to instill solid, biblical knowledge in young minds by requiring "memory verses." Most any child with a history of Bible class attendance has likely learned Proverbs 16:18: "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Within this short statement is an important truth, whether in discussing one's personal life or the motives behind social causes. This study will focus on the need to trust God's plan by removing prideful ideas that seek to remove Him as King.
