Black History Month this year was...quiet to say the least. In 2021, we saw brands throwing out campaigns left and right to Black creators as a means to rectify the diversity and inclusion issues that were brought to light in 2020, but it kinda feels like that momentum somehow came to a screeching halt.
We dive more into our disappointment with the lack of #BHM campaigns that we saw and what it actually means to be inclusive and an ally in the influencer space. Spoiler alert: it's more than posting a black square in solidarity.
