There has been a huge update to the forecast models with regards to the major winter storm moving into the Northeast towards the end of this week. Yesterday, the ECMWF was showing 2 feet of snow possible for Massachusetts and Maine, but now, the models have moved the storm offshore. While some accumulations are still likely with this run, the bullseye of this system is no longer directly over the U.S. On the bright side, this storm is a long way off, so the models will continue to change and get better throughout the week.
