One of the benefits of choosing in-home hospice care when faced with a terminal illness is that you have a trained volunteer visiting you in your home at regular intervals to check on you. While most people will also have a caregiver to help as well, what happens if you are alone for periods of time and happen to die during one of those times?  In this episode, we’re going to go over what happens if you die alone in your home and give you some tips and precautions you can put in place to make sure you’re not forgotten when you die, or even prevent the situation from happening in the first place.
