WHAT HAPPENS OUTSIDE THE BEDROOM...STAYS IN THE BEDROOM with Talli Rosenbaum

Listen Later

In this weeks episode, I have a conversation with Talli Rosenbaum, an individual and couples therapist and a certified sex therapist who together with Rabbi Scott Kahn, has a great podcast of her own called “Intimate Judaism”: https://www.intimatejudaism.com.
She talks to me about how sex is not an isolated part of our lives, rather it’s part of who we are biologically, psychologically and socially, as well as relationally.
Talli explains that sex is not just something that you do, but a journey you go on with the person you love. We talk about the difference between the male and female sex drive and how certain gender myths and expectations can cause more damage than good. Talli challenges the notion that a couple needs to “succeed” in sex, and stresses the importance of connection, presence and pleasure, over performance.
In this episode, you will learn that a good sex life has less to do with the mechanics and more to do with the actual relationship. It’s all connected.
This conversation is meant for mature audiences only. Listener discretion is advised
