What healthy habits do you have? One of the healthy habits that I have is running. I love to run. It hasn't always been that way. But it's one of the healthy habits that I've developed over the last 10 months of my life. I was challenged to run a half marathon. My friend kept begging me and begging me. And finally I said, "okay, I'll do it". And I looked up a schedule online, and I started running. It was slow and painful at first, and I hated every single second of it.
But I remember the joy that I felt when I finished my first two miles that I'd run without stopping. And then I got to the five mile mark and it was such an accomplishment. And I was so happy that I had been able to run the whole time. Looking back now, I wouldn't call it much of a run. It was more of a fat man shuffle. Because I was quite over weight of the time. I just kept running and running, and I worked through all the pains in my legs, and it was hard work, but I felt my body getting stronger and healthier and got more dedication. And I just got more strict and more strict with my my running schedule, and it's created a healthy habit in my life. My goal is to run anywhere from 20 to 25 miles a week, and I enjoy it.
In fact, I remember the first run. It was probably an eight mile run or maybe a seven mile run. I can't remember exactly, But was... I ran out like, 3. 5 to 4 miles and was coming back home on this trail that I had been running for 2. 5 months and I'm running back and my body feels good.
And I feel this energy. And I just thought to myself "I'm enjoying this. I love this. I love running" but I never did before. I always wanted to think that I loved running, but I never really did love running until that moment when I really loved it and fell in love with it. And now I have this habit that just keeps going and going, and I just have to run it. I guess it's an addiction and I love it.
