Windows has a built-in method for cleaning out unnecessary files how to free up hard drive space, it's called "Disk Cleanup". But disk cleanup has a lot of options, and you may not know which boxes to check; nothing to do here is really going to wreck your computer, but when you're trying to get rid of temporary files and don't want to delete something that might be useful in the future it's good to know what the different boxes mean.
