In this expat podcast episode of Not Your Average Globetrotter we'll go over some of the things that I hate about Italy... okay, I don't actually hate them, however, a few things that I do find frustrating in Italy and I know many Italians born in Italy also find them frustrating. All in all, I love living in Italy and that's why I continue to live here. Italian bureaucracy can come in various forms and in different areas of life but while you do find things that are very regulated and strict, you also find areas of life where things can be a little relaxed... sometimes too relaxed... As an expat in Italy, you may find cultural differences at times that can be frustrating, but of course, that's just part of life, things aren't always perfect. But, when thinking about moving to Italy, moving abroad, in general, or to live abroad, I think it's very important to consider not only the exciting and wonderful things like the Pizza, Pasta & Amore but also to consider the realities that you're getting yourself into.
