If you're anything like me, you were that mystic-type kid.
The one who didn’t quite fit the mainstream norms. Who was a little too deep, a little too intuitive, a little too magical and a lot of woo. And if this wasn’t you, chances are you knew someone just like that growing up.
Being a highly sensitive, magical, intuitive, or spiritual child can be incredibly isolating. So when I picked up a copy of the book Wise Child and started reading, my little self felt seen on those pages before me.
As I read, I learned more about supporting my children on a deeper level, but a little piece of young Kerriann healed, too.
This book is all things past life parenting, and it’s redefining how we approach the new waves of children who (I believe) are here to change the way we’ve always done things, to shift the paradigm and raise the vibration of love and consciousness on this planet.
In this week’s episode of What I Know to Be True So Far, I had the absolute joy of sitting down with the author Amy Molloy. A journalist, editor, creator of the hit podcast The Space, and founder of LightWriter Media. Amy’s work has touched millions, and getting to sit down over Zoom a couple of months ago to pick her brain was such a treat. I’m so excited to finally share this episode with you!
This episode is for every parent or caregiver who’s ever felt that the children in their lives are holding ancient wisdom and messages from another lifetime. But it’s also for us, the magical adults, who didn’t always have the support we needed growing up as tuned-in children.
Amy shares her incredible personal story, her path from grief to awakening, and how motherhood opened her eyes to the quiet, incredible, spiritual past-life intelligence of children.
We talk about:
* Past life parenting — what it is, and how to tune into it.
* How our children can guide us with their natural connection to intuition, the unseen, and even memories beyond this lifetime.
* Real stories from families who’ve witnessed remarkable spiritual moments from their children.
* Letting go of “the parent knows best” and leaning into co-creation.
* How nature, soul clusters, and deep presence support the family unit as a space of shared healing and expansion.
She also shares grounded, practical tools on how to respond when your child says something spiritually profound (or downright mind-blowing), how to support sensitive little beings, and how to meet big conversations with lightness and curiosity.
One of my favourite moments was when Amy said:
“We don’t need to fix our children. We need to remember how to listen.”
Yes. That. All of that.
This episode is a return to listening to the whispers of your child, your own intuition, and the timeless threads that connect us all.
