What I Learned from 10 Days Off of Social Media

So many people are so burned out and discouraged by their use of their social media. This might be due to: 

  • Not fully embracing the fact that you are now a content creator, not just a content consumer. 
  • Spending a lot of time trying to make everything look pretty but not really knowing how it all fits into your business’s overall marketing plan.

If you don’t know why you’re on social media and how it fits into your overall marketing plan, you’re going to be really frustrated and burnt out. If you know why you’re on the platform but you’re acting more like a content consumer rather than a content creator, it’s probably time to take some time off to re-calibrate.

And in this week’s episode, I’m sharing the things I learned by taking time off of social media These are:

  • Finding out that I had way more time
  • Feeling disconnected from my clients
  • Feeling easier to be content
